It takes many skills to be a truly exceptional family photographer and Bobby has them all. He is an artist with a great aesthetic and vision, a technical expert with his equipment, and a magician with getting kids to cooperate while having fun. He also listens and works hard to capture the types of photos the client is looking for. In our case I was focused on getting some good shots with everyone looking at the camera, which can be very hard with young kids as every parent knows! I feel like a lot of photographers will try to push you into more candid shots because they are easier, but not Bobby. He brought gifts for our kids and made them feel like they were on a special adventure. He had a great eye for setting, staging, and details, and he was not afraid to tell this middle-aged mom how I needed to position myself to look my best, which is important to me. I really cherish the photos Bobby took of us and hopefully he can be our family photographer for many years to come!

Bobby was amazing with us since the first contact! We shared ideas before and in the day of the photo shot was amazing! We wanted something that represented us as a family and capture our real moments! And Bobby could capture it all. We had a great time and felt very comfortable the whole time! We used LionOBearStudio to take our engagement photos. While my now husband would rather do anything else in the world but take pictures, especially in the dead heat of summer, Bobby made it fun and comfortable and we never felt awkward. He was able to genuinely make us laugh and gave us all sorts of poses so the pictures turned out candid and you could really see our happiness shine through. He was patient with our many outfit changes and provided the edits and photos in a timely manner so I was not waiting around to send out our save the dates. Bobby and his team have taken several photoshoots for my family, and we’ve loved each one. We did a maternity shoot with him, where Bobby was able to also work with our dog - he’s an absolute pro. We then had a family shoot with lots of extended family and little kids - keeping everyone together and organized was like herding cats, but Bobby did a great job. Bobby also took pictures for our child’s first birthday, and had great ideas of poses and/or where to photograph. We cherish the memories captured in his photos for our family!

Babak and his assistant are both talented and professional photographers that have an eye for capturing the feeling of the moment, which helped make our engagement feel all the more special.They truly put their hearts into their work, (and backs too, considering they hiked up Mt Bonnell with all that gear and props to set up early for the proposal) and for that they will always have ours!

Thank you for the wonderful session, Bobby. The kiddos still talk about you every time they see the pics you took of our family. You made us all feel comfortable, normalized the kiddos hyper activity :) and brought gifts for them. What was most amazing to me was that you were able to capture the kiddos (and our) personalities in the pictures. No staged photography- you kept it real. Bobby was very professional and has a way of making you feel very comfortable and confident too. This was my first baby shower and he had the patience to capture all the laughter and emotions that came with such a special day. Bobby originally did a maternity photo shoot for my husband and myself, and we were so happy to recommend him to my family for bigger group pictures.
We had the entire family together - grandparents, kids, and grandchildren - and Bobby was amazing. He got priceless shots of everyone together, as well as smaller group photos. There were five grandchildren, all very young, so it could have been extremely hectic. Bobby was amazing with the kids though. He got really beautiful shots of each one, and sweet poses of them playing together.

Bobby is absolutely wonderful to work with. He puts a lot of effort into his photoshoots, regardless of what type and he really puts everyone at ease. We only met last year but since then we have done at least 3 separate photoshoots with Bobby with plans to do more! He does a lot of fun holiday ones and you can really see all the love and attention to detail that Bobby has for his craft, his set up is immaculate.
