WHERE DO YOU TAKE YOUR PICTURES, DO YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC SET OF SPOTS WITHIN THE LOOP AND ARE YOU WILLING TO FIND A SPOT OUTSIDE THE LOOP ?
The spots I pick for each session are tailored to the session and the client. Before booking and agreeing on a location we will consult together as a team what you had in mind and if there is a specific spot you want the session to take place. For some clients the location does not matter and they rely entirely on me, and others have spots that brings memories to them.

 

WHICH AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO TRAVEL FEES?
Areas outside the loop(610), "the burbs" and so on, are subject to travel fees.

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK FOR BEST AVAILABILITY?
We usually recommend to book 1-2 months in advance. Weekends book very quickly. For fall/Christmas season I recommend 3 month in advance.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON OUR SESSION DATE?
We plan ahead and check forecast closely a week before the shoot. If rain is on the radar, we will reschedule.

 

WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MATERNITY PORTRAITS ?
This totally varies, but recommend around 28-32 week range.
 

DOES IT COST EXTRA TO SHOOT AT A STUDIO?
Yes, all studios are subject to a cost per hour which will be covered by the client.

WHEN DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS AND HOW DO WE RECEIVE THEM?
The typical turn around is 4-6 weeks. For party or events it's typical 6-8 weeks.
All of your photos are delivered online in a private gallery and you can download the full resolution images, either individually or all as a package. The private gallery will be available for you for 4 weeks, so please make sure to download your pictures as soon as you receive them. 

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 4-8 WEEKS TURN AROUND, IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THE PICTURES SOONER?
We can do a rush order, but depending on what package you picked time still varies. Rush order starts at $100 and it depends on quantity as well as how soon you would like the pictures. Please remember editing is time consuming so it is not possible to get a gallery rushed over night.

HOW MANY PICTURES WILL WE RECEIVE?
I do not limit the quantity of your pictures, in fact I have a "it is all yours" mentality. What this means is the cost of your session is covering my time, my talent and editing time. Your photos are yours and you will get however many photos that are great. But to give you an estimate, a 30 minute session you will receive around 10-15 images and a 1 hour session you receive around 35 images.
